55Our pup had a lovely time! There was plenty of grass for zoomies and an elevated deck great for cooldown time. A very dog-reactive pup might have a tricky time with one of the next door dogs, who is visible through an open slat fence, but there are enough obstructions that it isn't wasn't an issue for us. The location is convenient, and access was easy. We will visit again!Bruce M.

55First time using it. My dog spent most of it sniffing getting used to the place. But maybe next time she’ll be more into playing and running around. But the yard was great. Little deck to sit on. Will definitely be back Jason W.

55We had so much fun! The covered area was great since it was raining lightly and it wasn’t muddy. Stella also really enjoyed watching the ducks next door. Lieselotte E.

55My dogs and I enjoyed our first visit to this Sniffspot. The yard is good for sniffers and also for humans with a very nice sitting area, owner supplied water, etc. An extra bonus was the walking trails for leashed dogs. Joy M.

55Will is a great host. The yard is very big and the fence is high without any places to escape. Lots of seating for humans and shade as well. Great location in the heart of the city. Stephanie A.

55I totally forgot to bring my fur babies toys but she had fun running around anyway. Jessica said she'll be getting some toys soon so looking forward to that. There was water left outside. Easy street parking and easy access to the yard. We'll be back :)Cherizar C.

55Although Jessica makes her place available for fur babies who need alone time, today we opted to let Oxy play with one of her dogs. Oxy had a blast! Jessica is very kind and it was nice to meet her :) Cherizar C.

FAQ about our Richmond dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Richmond area are 5 stars.
