55Lots of open space! My dog loved seeing all the animals and running through the fields. Good portions of the property were completely fenced but we had no problems with the unfenced sections.Rachel R.

55This is my second time here and it is amazing!! I don’t why, but my dog just loves running around here more than other Sniffspots we’ve visited. They are developing the site, and have super secure fencing, along with tall grass for your dog to run through as well as mowed paths. There are goats that are fenced and protected, but my dog needs some redirection when she remember they are there. Lisa S.

55My dogs had a great time roaming, ymsniffing, running, and exploring this beautiful and scenic property! My two pupsb loved bouncing/jumping through the tall grass and enjoyed rolling around in the hay in the fields! We didn't have any issues with the fencing; as noted in the description, there are sizable and noticeable holes for fencing posts. My dogs were very curious of the chickens and the enclosed, cute goats. Glad I write my hiking boots? David is a very nice and welcoming host!Rona A.

55A lovely spot! Just some things to be aware of: As they mentioned in the post, the area that is fully fenced is around 2 acres (it seems smaller than that to me, but I could be wrong). 3 of the sides seem quite secure, but one side is just a few horizontal strings of barbed wire with some brambles around it, so if you have a dog that is quite small or can jump high and is determined to get out, it could be possible. But it was enough for my medium-sized dog. The fully fenced area is a meadow, with grass about calf to knee height. The perimeter was mowed, so there was space where it was easier to walk and throw a ball.
The area that is not fully fenced, is mostly fenced, and it includes another large meadow area and a forested area; both are lovely. This area leads back to their home and driveway, which is the part that is not fenced or gated. The driveway is very long though, so if your dog mostly sticks close to you, this is fine.
One note for those with dog-reactive dogs: they forgot to put their dog inside before I arrived, so as I drove up the driveway, their dog came up to my car and barked, which is incredibly difficult for my dog. They came out immediately and put their dog inside and it was clear that their intention is to have their dog inside when sniff spot visitors come and it was just a mistake. But since my dog is aggressive with other dogs, and since the larger area is where their home is, I wouldn't let my dog out in the larger area unless I knew for absolutely certain that their dog was inside and that the owners know that I'm there. Certainly if their dog is outside when you arrive, it will be sure to alert you to its presence, which is very considerate of it :)Nichelle & Mark M.

55What a great spot! It was very calm and my dog had a blast leaping through the tall grass. We will definitely be back on some cooler days! It was pretty toasty out there in the field and left early as my pup was getting overheated.Brittany S.

55What a beautiful field and secluded trail area to romp in! Our dogs LOST THEIR MINDS at the sight of goats so we kept away from their areas but there was plenty of space to play in, and a good deal of amenities such as toys, treats, water provided, etc. It seems the fencing is moving along quickly too, as there were no places that looked iffy to me, aside from the unfenced/partially fenced side by the house. Good recall is essential for that portion but there are designated trails mowed down to help keep dogs in line. :) Lea H.

55Our two pups really enjoyed this sniff spot! While livestock is viewable & located directly next to the spot upon entrance, our pups had zero issues with reactivity. The mass majority of the spot is away from the livestock & there is ample space to explore and run. We look forward to our next trip! Kansas S.

55Great spot! Host was present and friendly for first time visitor, great communication. There is work being done at the property (driveway), so be aware of that and your surroundings. There are goats behind a fence by the designated parking spot, be aware and respectful of that. Fencing has some gaps large enough for a small dog to slip through. Nova had a great time. Julie M.

FAQ about our Camas dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Camas?
There are 80 dog fields in the Camas area. The most popular dog field is Two Sisters Dog Park. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
