55Our boy had so much fun. We played frisbees and balls in field 2 and he enjoyed exploring field 3 but mostly we were hanging out in field 2. Water, lots of balls, and frisbees were provided. The bee hives were marked with a very clear sign in field 3 so we knew exactly where to avoid. Thank you for sharing your space so our sweet boy can run and roam. We will definitely be back next time! Christian S.

55Great place. I have one dog that loves to run and another dog that like to check the fence for holes or weak spots. He didn’t find any. Great place to go. G S.

55We had a great visit at this spot! My three dogs were very happy with all the spaces. The middle area was fun with a little pool and all the necessary stuff was available. Wear your hiking boots if you plan to venture beyond the fenced area. We’ll be back for sure!Heather L.

55We arrived on a foggy morning and utilized field 2. Great communication with host reminding us of the wildlife and coyotes down in field 3. Since it was early and foggy we didn’t go down there. Next time! Secure fencing and gates for my two German Shepherds. They could smell all kinds of wildlife in the nearby woods and ran the fence line playfully with their noses in the air! Great peaceful natural setting on a slope. We’ll be back! Tonia J.

55This is a wonderful spot! My dog loved exploring each of the three fields and splashing in the kiddie pool. The host has fresh water available and some balls to play with, as well as towels to dry muddy feet. The lower field is a bit more uneven earth so sturdy shoes are helpful. We didn’t see any coyotes on our visit, but there was coyote scat present so they definitely come by as the host mentioned. There are two horses next door that kept to themselves, and a friendly golden retriever mix that came up to the fence but didn’t bark or act reactive at all. We loved this spot and will definitely be back! Kristin S.

55Cool place for dogs to explore! It's definitely a working farm so expect some horse poop, but the main areas were clear and the trails were neat. I unfortunately had to leave early because my dog was obsessed with the horse, but the horse was extremely tolerant toward a dog barking at it! Host was super kind and helpful!Nikki C.

55We love this spot! The trails were fun to explore and the hillside is great for fetch! I have a reactive dog and I felt totally comfortable letting him run free. I really appreciate the water bowls, garbage, extra balls and treats. The signs are clear and the grass was short. Amanda was so nice and accommodating. We will be back for sure! Lindsey A.

55My dogs loved it! We saw a deer! My nervous, reactive dogs loved the open field and all wood smells. It was so nice and quiet that they actually took a settle break in between sniff sessions. The sign for parking was great. We couldn’t find the trail but the field was perfect. My dog could not stop doing happy rolls in the grass.Melissa A.

55Had a great first visit. Place was easy to find. I appreciated that they had the field mowed pretty short. It is a sloping area surrounded by dense brush and trees. Very peaceful. Wendy W.

55Positively an absolute delight. Our German Shepherd had a field day no pun intended. She was able to run around, sniffing everything, the host was gracious to leave toys, treats, and water. 10 out of 10 would go there again.Claire And Andrew R.

55Lovely spot, one of my dogs absolutely did not want to leave the horse, who was clearly just another big dog. Got them on the trails for awhile. They loved running through the woods. Then played some catch in the field. All in all a great time!Laurie F.

55Elizabeth and Philip have an excellent Sniffspot. I have two small dogs, and this was perfect for them. They love the horse and the trail! There was a small gap in the fencing that they got through, but when I let Philip know he immediately fixed it. This is a great spot and it’s obvious that these people love providing a safe space for dogs to play! Absolutely coming againShelbey C.

55Otto had great fun at Elizabeth’s! He loved the versatility of the trails and the yard, but he was enamored with the horse and goats. It’s a farm setting, so I expected that, and not the more manicured Sniffspots, but what a lovely host! Kat M.

FAQ about our Washougal dog fields
Are dog fields safe?
If you are looking for an adventure, but also looking for safety, Sniffspot dog fields are a great option. While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, distracted dog owners, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks are much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private space for just you and doggy friends you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). Especially for training, privacy is ideal. Contrary to public dog parks, all Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog for off leash exercise or outdoor training. 93% of reviews on Sniffspot visits are 5 stars, while public dog parks often do not even have verified reviews. All payment is done securely online by credit card in a few simple clicks.
How can I find dog fields in Washougal?
There are 78 dog fields in the Washougal area. The most popular dog field is Washougal Valley View. You can browse all of our dog fields here.
How do I know if a dog field works for my dog?
All park rental information is available online. Start by filtering parks by fencing, size and distractions, to find a private spot that works for your dog. If your dog has poor recall, you can visit one of our secure fields. If your dog is reactive to other dogs, you can visit one of our dog fields where there are no dogs audible or visible nearby. You can review the details of the listing to make sure it works as your desired activity space, for example, safe dog exercise, dog training, a stress-free adventure with your furry friend or even a puppy event. You can even check the park amenities chart for amenities such as indoor training facilities, agility field, synthetic turf, exercise balls or field parking availability in advance. If inclement weather is an issue or poor field conditions, you can reschedule your visit up to 2 hours in advance.
What are the requirements to bring my dog to a Sniffspot dog field?
We require that all four-legged friends have basic vaccinations or equivalent titers. We do not allow dogs with a bite history. We require that guests sign our waiver and agree to follow our safety rules. Make sure to check host rules before visiting to ensure, for instance, that you are following allowable sports activities rules and any special events rules.
Will there be other dogs at the Sniffspot field at the same time as me?
No. Facility rentals are for private play time and any host dogs are required to be kept away from the area during visits, so this is perfect for a private adventure for you and your doggie friends, and perhaps a human friend. Hosts understand that many guests have dogs in training and are nervous owners. So when you book a Sniffspot dog field you have the entire private spot to yourself. We also enforce 30 min time buffers between time slots so you will not run into other guest dogs or a previous person when coming or leaving in the field parking area. Some hosts may have multiple fields, but there is always a buffer between fields.
