I have a.sweet dog from The London Sanctuary I adopted 4 years ago. I also fostered another puppy for a few months. The London Sanctuary made the adoption process easy and followed up to make sure vet appointments happened. They really care about all of the dogs and try to help strays whenever possible. The second foster puppy we were unable to adopt but the The London Sanctuary helped us find a good family for her. They sincerely want the dogs to find their perfect family and we appreciate how that has benefited our family. We are thankful for this rescue organization in our community.

The London Sanctuary is a nonprofit exclusive hound rescue and sanctuary. TLS provides long-term care for dogs who are unable to be placed due to their advanced age or medical needs. We also work to place adoptable hounds in their forever homes who have been rescued from government-run shelters around the Southeastern U.S. or were abandoned forest hounds in more rural areas in NE Florida.

Through Beagle Freedom project, I was able to rescue my beagle bean. They work effortlessly to rescue beagles suffering from animal abuse in product testing laboratories. If it wasn't for them, thousands of beagles would be euthanized as these product companies no longer use beagles past 2 years old. They are fighting for the right cause, to end beagle breeding for testing and rehoming those who have endured the abuse of animal testing.

Beagle Freedom Project began in 2004 as ARME (Animal Rescue, Media & Education), a Los Angeles-based animal rescue and advocacy group. In addition to helping hundreds of abused and homeless animals throughout California, ARME helped educate the public on animal cruelty issues by producing the award-winning documentaries Behind the Mask and Skin Trade. In December 2010, a California research laboratory asked ARME to take in two ‚experimentally spent‚ beagles (their term, not ours) who would otherwise be killed. Never saying no, we sprang into action. The video of those two beagles taking their first steps of freedom went viral and Beagle Freedom Project was born! From the early 2000’S through 2014, everyone has known us as New Mexico Beagle Rescue. As of April 21, 2015 we are officially Central New Mexico Beagle Rescue. CNMBR is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where we run a foster based beagle rescue. CNMBR’s mission as a breed specific rescue is to: rescue, love, rehabilitate, and re-home homeless, or in need beagles, in the state of New Mexico, or our bordering states. We are also dedicated to educating the public about the ways in which beagles are so misunderstood. They need plenty of exercise, a very patient family who can teach them their manners, and lots, and lots of Love. We would also like to address how important it is to Spay and Neuter our companion animals. If people would Spay and Neuter their companion animals there would be a lot less animals euthanized. We hope in the coming years we are able to provide spaying and neutering at no charge.

Thousand Oaks, California has been a safe haven for Sniffspot host, Jen, since childhood. Having grown up in busy Santa Barbara, Jen, an introvert from an early age, would seek out solitude and serenity away from tourists attractions and droves of people visiting from elsewhere. “My grandparents own 60 acres about a 30 minute drive from here, and I grew up spending every summer and every holiday visiting them on the ranch,” Jen explained. “In Santa Barbara, we wouldn't go to the beach on the weekend because that's where everybody was, so you'd find places off the beaten path where the tourists weren't. For me, the ranch was just my happy place.”
