Testimonials
See all testimonials"Buddy came to us in May 2020 as a 7 year old stray. He is my 3rd Jack Russell Terrier. He was anxious to run during the first 24 hours. After he realized that a nice fenced in yard and lots of walks were great; he made me his human.
He settled in nicely and displayed impeccable house manners. We are grateful that he was rescued. Freedom Ride Rescue followed up on my references and completed the adoption quickly. Thank you FRR!"

"Three cheers for Freedom Ride Rescue! Adopting our sweet boy, Denali, and fostering many dogs for this organization has been so rewarding and I will cherish all of these memories. Freedom Ride has an incredible team from start to finish who work diligently behind the scenes, even in stressful situations, and make the entire process smooth. The Rescue’s fosters have transparent communications to potential adoptees and screen each family to ensure the dogs are set up for success and placed with families who will give the dog the best forever home! Freedom Ride has a great support system and network for all things dog-related for their “alumni.” Freedom Ride is saving the lives of countless dogs in rural counties in North Carolina. Thank you, FRR!"

"Adopting from Freedom Ride was the best decision I could make! I love that each dog is fostered by a loving family/human. I love knowing my sweet pup was taken care of before she could be mine. That was one of the biggest reasons I chose Freedom Ride. I also love their mission, their work, and their staff. I will only be adopting from Freedom Ride in the future, as I can trust everyone their really cares for animals."

"Just amazingly supportive experience with this group. They work so hard to place the dogs in the perfect home. We found our amazing Winnie through Freedom Ride and the process from start to finish was both professional and loving. They offer ongoing support because they want everyone to succeed and I am forever grateful for their fun meet and greets, their reunion events, all of it."

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development.
David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners.
Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature.
