The Liberty Dog Network was established in 2022 and is a small, Southern California based dog rescue. We rely on fosters/people to open their home to care for the dogs we rescue. We provide all medical care and supplies to our fosters, they provide the home and supply the love.
Mission and Vision
Our mission is to rescue the dogs that have been discarded and/or neglected and have ended up in our overcrowded and diseased shelter system.
Adoption Policy
Our adoption policy has multiple guidelines potential owners must agree to in order to adopt a dog from us. Our contract covers living arrangements (must not be kept as an outside dog, must not have poisonous plants in yard, and have appropriate fencing), and future care (must provide medical care). The contract also covers what to do in case the dog is ever lost, stolen, or killed. In addition, we require the adopter to return the dog to us if they decide they no longer wish to keep him/her.

"The Liberty Dog Network is an amazing rescue. They take in animals that would other wise be put down and give them a second chance. I have been following the journey of Liberty the husky. She was at SEAACA, a high kill shelter, and was euth listed. If it wasn’t for the Liberty Dog Network she wouldn’t be here. They have given her so much love and have dedicated so many hours to make her feel like a normal dog again. Liberty really is thriving along with all the other dogs in their care. For this reason I believe the Liberty Dog Network really deserves this recognition."

"Liberty Dog Network rescued a black dog from the high kill shelter in Downey, CA. She was euth listed as she had pneumonia and was literally being walked to the gas chamber when they pulled her. They immediately hospitalized her and she was adopted by her Foster’s dad. He named her Lucky and she has the best life!"

"Liberty Dog Network has my utmost respect as an excellent rescue organization. I saw firsthand the care and understanding given to a very scared girl who didn't feel safe going for drive in car to veterinary spay appointment. She was allowed the time she needed to adjust to the thought of getting in the car. She was given the opportunity to regulate her nervous system rather than being forced and adding to her stress on that day. And many other circumstances of love. Thankful for Liberty Dog Network!"

"The Liberty Dog Network is a small but mighty rescue. They rarely take on more than they can handle and are always striving to be nothing less than responsible. We’ve fostered 3 dogs with LDN, transported, helped with other dogs, and more for them. They took on several dire medical cases last year, only pulling from the euth list, and only pulling in Southern California where they are based. LDN has also built a little community with fosters helping each other out in emergencies, temp fostering, and more. We love LDN!"

"I have witnessed this rescue recently go to great lengths to help several dogs, and the most memorable one being a husky named Liberty. Liberty the dog ended up escaping, but I know the founder camped out and did everything in her means to find this dog. She was successful, but all this just speaks of her tenacity as someone in rescue."

"Liberty Dog Rescue is an amazing rescue. They are small but mighty. I’ve network online for euth-listed dogs in Southern California shelters and Liberty often steps in to help, even with the limited resources she has. She has also housed and kept dogs she’s rescued from being killed in the shelter, many who’ve ended up living with her for years before finally finding the perfect families so they can be adopted. Please consider honoring this rescue. They also partner and help other rescues too, often collaborating together to get dogs rescued and out safe before they are killed in overcrowded shelters. Liberty doesn’t do this for fame or any other reason, other than to save dogs and get them placed in loving homes."

Get your dog the safe enrichment they need by renting a Sniffspot

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development.
David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners.
Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature.
David is based in Salem, MA.
