About 4 of the acres is heavily wooded with very mature evergreens & maples. There is a very nice wide trail with lots of little ups & downs & obstacles. The trail is walkable in 5-10 depending on pace. The rest of the property is mostly native grass & weeds with some European grass that surrounds our house & shop in the middle of the property. No busy roads very peaceful & quiet.

Nature in the City is a unique Private Dog Park that is 1 1/2 acres of beautiful natural land with varied landscapes. Step out of the city and into our natural setting that features different areas including 2 grassy fields perfect for fetch w/discs, ropes, or toys, (balls are not best here due to all of the surrounding bushes), a couple of forested areas, a tall grassy wetland-like area, several nature trails for hiking adventures where your dog(s) can explore, run & feel free, and a healthy little creek that’s a hit with the pups. They can wade, cool off, and drink from the natural water. Your dogs will have so many different sniffing and secure off-leash exploring opportunities here! Our spot is so much more than just a fenced field! The area is diverse and so much fun for your dog(s)! This is a great spot to work on recall. There are a couple areas on the trails that are a little steep, there’s a trail where you have to walk on logs 🪵, and the little creek has to be stepped over, so people with limited mobility may have issues in these areas of the spot. There are plenty of spaces and trails that are suitable for all abilities. If you’re looking for a basic fenced field to play chuck-it then this probably isn’t your spot. We are continually working on our property, so every time you visit it will have more open space, more trails, and the blackberry bushes will be trimmed back. We provide a rain/sun shelter with 4 foldable chairs and lots of supplies including dog toys & balls, poop bags, hand sanitizer, natural bug spray, wipes, hand towels, first aid kit, and a cornhole yard game. Located outside are 2 zero-gravity reclining chairs, a kids size picnic table, and fresh drinking water for your pups. There are open areas with sun ☀️, and there is shade all day due to many large trees. Our property is fully secure with 5 to 6 ft fencing. We walk the fence line regularly and check to make sure it’s secure. We are located close-in on the Westside of Vancouver one mile from I-5 on 78th Street in West Hazel Dell near Felida. *It gets muddy in areas when it has been wet/raining outside. Come prepared so you enjoy your visit. **We just added 6 solar flood lights in the main field area for those of you who need to visit after dark. They light up the entryway, main field, and the shelter. Thank you!

This 15+ acres of hay field is mostly fenced, with an opening at the top. If you choose, there is a path along the outside that leads to a creek(unfenced) to the right at the field. There are dogs at the front of the property, which are fenced in. There is possibility of hearing barking from them or neighbors. Off road parking, I will give clear directions before arrival. Come roam around a huge open space! Bring a ball or just have a sniff party! *Electric Fence surrounds the horse pasture - which you must pass to get to the sniff spot* Please keep to the designated sniff spot area, the top field and barn area is NOT open to the public. Any equipment in the area, including dog agility equipment, is NOT for public use. Please take your waste with you!

We have an open 7 acre property that is surrounded by trees and blackberries. This is a small working lavender farm. The entrance and one other opening to a neighboring field are the only openings to the property. We are visited by deer on occasion and have two dogs of our own that can be kept inside during your visit or allowed to play outside if you wish. We have a covered patio to get out of the sun or a large patio in the sun if you prefer. Water is provided for dogs and people. Come and relax while your dog enjoys the open range.

Sept 3-Oct 11** Beautiful views and farm animal neighbors add to the fun. Shade trees and seating make this spot fun for all! Long and short grass *currently approx 1/3 mowed, the rest is a field of high grass. There is a trail mowed around outside a few through center*, slight hills, a sand pile and dirt to dig in too! We are a farm animal sanctuary and wildlife friendly. There may be long grass, insects, farm animal poo and other farmy stuff. Fun smell things such as feathers, wool, horse hair etc is added for dogs to sniff. All is cruelty free. WINTER: Seasonal pond takes up the lower portion of the spot. It may grow and shrink throughout the season. Dogs love it! Ground will likely be soggy but we will close if entrance becomes unsafe. SUMMER: During warm weather there is a 9’ stock tank pool (not filtered) for dogs. One adult may accompany each dog but please no children. >> Please note! Perimeter fence was replaced and spot now includes additional space! There are more trees and brush included for your dogs sniffing pleasure. Please use caution, there are some new trip hazards and holes. We have walked this multiple times but things may continue to work their way out of the exposed earth. We think dogs will enjoy even more but be aware, it’s a little more wild than before! << Private parking for one or two vehicles available. If additional needed, please message host. Clean porta potty available for guest use. This is also used by others, please keep dogs leashed in this area. This park is dedicated to Dexter, the King of Bork. Our spot was designed and built specifically to help keep pets in their homes. We are a search and rescue that deals with hard cases and know what its like to have dogs that can’t be around other dogs, animals or people. This spot is dedicated to those dogs in an effort to help keep them active and happy at home so their families don’t have to give them up or have them end up in a shelter. All proceeds from this sniffspot go directly to I Paw’d It Forward's mission of keep families together.

Pet the friendly pig Nala she's in a secure area. Both are fully fenced! (Outside water is shut off in the winter) due to pipes freezing. PLEASE use back pasture too where the logs are at!! Bring a picnic 😊 Use of basketball court just bring your own ball. Please note we only accept bookings 7 days in advance and often weekend spots are not available for booking until a few days prior. We have a 3 acre parcel where dogs can stretch out to run. Find shade, chew on a stick, great spot for frisbee or fetch. Creek area is available on a different part of property. Both of those areas are not fenced. The fenced portion is approximately an 1/2 acre with inside outside access with rubber mat inside.

Sauvie Island Private farm walk. We have mowed the back 20 and created an unfenced leashed walking trail. Plenty of sniffs, eagles, rabbits, deer, and other wildlife. Great views. Private. Shady rest stops. A great walk for fit, agile humans and well trained dogs. I use this for training, decompression, and relaxed walking. It's by far my dog's favorite. The ground is uneven, with tall cut grass, pollen. Some farm machinery and active farm fields will be visible.

We have 5 beautiful acres with a little bit of everything, grass, trees, sand, wood chips, whatever your dog fancies! We have a small creek at the back of our property. We have a trail for humans & dogs that wraps around the entire 5 acres. We have water access for dogs available. I own 5 acres about 4 of that is fully fenced however some fencing is gates and barb wire so a dog could get through certain areas but I doubt it with so much for you and your best friend to explore. The views are incredible rain or shine. You hear absolutely nothing other than nature. Parking is next to the barn or in front of the barn. A hose is available and large cattle type water basin. An outlet is on the barn wall by the gate and 3 gates are available for entry to the pasture, please keep the dogs of the main lawn area and main house area etc.
