55Really great! You don't have to walk far to get to any of the good stuff, regardless of what you like; the river, woods, and fields are right there. The dogs went crazy romping all over the place -- really enjoyed it.Katherine D.

55Lydia has a beautiful and well kept yard. Location is nice in the country side just outside of Harrisonburg. She had toys, water bowls, and poop bags available for us. My two huskies had fun doing zoomies in her yard. Isa Marie M.

55Lydia was a lovely host who made us feel so welcome. She even had a towel we could use to wipe off our dog’s feet since the grass was recently cut! Highly recommend this sniffspot. Emmaline E.

55Host was super sweet and welcoming to her clean and well maintained yard! My puppers had a good time getting their energy out and drinking water that Lydia provided. Lydia also gave me fresh veggies to take home with me. Great first sniffspot experience, 10/10 recommend! Michelle A.

55Great space for dogs to run around, and Lydia went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. I have a small dog who loves escaping, so I brought a puppy pen and closed off the agricultural gate so she couldn't get out, worked just fine. The neighbors to the back had a chicken coop close to the fence, which my dogs found very entertaining. Tara P.

FAQ about our Dayton dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?
While public dog parks have a number of safety issues, such as aggressive dogs, disease transmission and general cleanliness, Sniffspot dog parks much safer than public dog parks. With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 96% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Dayton area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
