55We chose to stick with the back wooded trails and had a fabulous time! They have some yurts for rent (super cute) in the woods so I'm sure it isn't always all to yourself but it was today! My dogs loved exploring the pine trails! The woods aren't fenced but there is a creek and a quiet road that borders all of it. The farm animals are mostly behind fences and are a distance from the woods. I felt safe letting my dogs explore (they do have recalls and have seen farm animals before and are used to chickens and other birds, though they really didn't notice them from the trails). The host answered my questions super quickly. I also super appreciated the clean port-o-potty! Overall, it was a great experience!

55Such a fun place to take your pups! Both my girls had a blast running around the field and trails. Joshua was such a great host; loved learning a little bit about the farm animals, too! I wasn’t quite sure how my pointer was going to do around them, but Joshua removed all the birds from the field for us before we arrived and it was fun to watch my dogs interact with the pigs and goats. Was even able to hose them off before leaving. Highly recommend this spot, we’ll definitely be back!!

55Prior to booking the host warned me the property was muddy due to recent heavy rain but that there was a hose on the property. I came prepared with a towel. There was also fresh water set out. My dog had the time of his life running in the mud and water in the open field. The Sniffspot is advertised as “10 acres” fenced. However the fenced field its self is not that big. It was still a great size for my dog to really stretch out and run though. There is loose farm animals in the field area however they were able to hold their own against a dog. I have a very high prey drive dog and he did end up chasing some goats. The host was very kind and not bothered by it. Great spot for impulse control training or farm dog test training! Very cool property with all kinds of farm animals. I wish we could have checked the trails out but we were pressed for time.

55Joshua put in a lot of work to make a wonderful trail walk. But mother nature decided today was not a good day for walking trails. I didn't get a chance to take pictures of the trails and weren't able to stay for the entire time 2hr time slot due to the mosquitoes. But we will definitely be back to explore all the trails we didn't get to see, once it gets colder and the mosquitoes die down.

It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.

With Sniffspot all bookings are private for just you and dogs you bring with you and we require all dogs to be vaccinated (or have equivalent titers). All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 14% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Diggs area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
