My name is Seth and I've been a lifelong dog owner. I've always loved getting out for adventures and finding new spots to let dogs romp off leash. My dogs Boss and Kona were temperamental with other dogs so it was always important to find safe spots to let them off leash. They were the inspiration for my fenced in backyard! Kona passed in September 2022 and Boss passed in July 2023, so I've opened up the space to those who might need a fenced in area to help their dog(s) expend that energy! We believe a tired dog is a happy dog, and an even happier owner 😉

From December first on, the spot will only be open if we don't have a significant amount of snow. Please check back regularly to see if any slots are open. Situated on a scenic working farm, the Pooch Playground spans about 1/4 acre and is fully enclosed. Tucked next to a small woodland area, this location offers enough distance from the house and barn for a feeling of privacy. The field adjacent to the area is preserved for wildlife. We mow the spot every week, except during drought conditions. We purposely maintain longer grass (2-3 inches instead of cutting it too short) to withstand high traffic and dog urine. We leave 'islands' of grass long for sniffing and exploration. Look at the pictures of the spot. If a toy ends up in the field and you don't want to walk through the tall grass, let us know, and we will retrieve it.

Ruby’s Retreat for Reactive Dogs is a place where a dog can come to be dog. We have about .75 acres fenced with a ramp, oversized dig box, hideout, tether tug, (available upon request)kiddie pool and or splash pad. We also have about an acre of wooded trails that were created for Ruby and her brother’s daily sniff and strolls. Ruby was dog reactive which limited her outings, we would like to give other dogs the opportunity to be a dog with no stress and just be a dog. This spot is in memory of Ruby and her way of helping other dogs like her. Rocky (Ruby’s brother) and Ruby were the inspiration behind what we’d like to offer your dog. Thanks for checking us out 🐾🐾

Hi. This is my yard. I live out in the woods. I love dogs and built this fenced yard for them. I'm not sure of the exact size in acres, but it's between a quarter and a half acre. The fence is 4 feet tall most of the way around, but 3 feet tall in some spots as well.

Fully fenced in approximately two acres. We now have lighting for nighttime use. Remote switch for lights is located on the bulletin board in the barn. Approximately five times around the property perimeter equals a mile. We have chuck-it throws and balls, many toys, sand/digging areas, pools and agility equipment in a large, fenced area for you and your dog to romp around. We are open🥰 Offering two dogs for one rate per hr Lots of flat walking trails thru beautiful wooded property. Trails maintained, and open early spring thru late fall to start. If popular, we can open for winter hikes too. A canopy and bench in a fenced in area for play and relaxing, then leash up for a great walk thru the shaded and cool, winding trails in our forest. Possibly See deer, wild turkey, rabbit and squirrel, so that's why we ask for leashes on Flat, level walking meandering paths thru our wooded area. Boots or sneakers please, no open toe shoes ( for your own safety). And No smoking on property, too much of a fire Hazzard. Please clean up after pet, we supply a trash can for disposal, located at the gate of the fenced area.

No fencing, but some very nice open space, some of it wooded. Plenty of parking available also! We do have a senior tuxedo cat that will be indoors when the space is in use for dog play. Fun for snow play in the winter!

Our farm is open fields, lots of riverfront area for dogs to swim, and in the summer grab some vegetables at the farm stand. There are ungroomed walking trails that go around the entire property. Center of property tends to be wet. My personal dogs will remain inside the house while you are here. Bring your own poop bags please. Dogs with good recall are allowed off leash, at your own risk, please. We love all breeds of dogs with every quirk and ability. We respect that all dogs have different temperaments; all dogs are welcome, no matter how they feel towards strangers or other animals. We will do our 100% best to ensure no person or domestic animal will bother you on your adventure here. We work in animal rescue and commit that all proceeds will go towards continuing to help abandoned, abused, and neglected pets. Thank you for enjoying our peaceful space.
