Our spot is 10 acres of open flat land with a large farm pond. It's perfect for dogs that love to swim, play long distance fetch, or just run in open space. We provide a large selection of toys, 30ft floating leash, extra poop bags, and a dedicated waste bin. We have over a half an acre, entirely fenced in with a 6 foot wooden privacy fence. Conveniently located in the City of Manassas, right near 28, but it feels like you are in a wide open country space. Very few trees, plenty of room to run. Access to water and baby pool, toys and chairs for owners to use.

Our 11 acre farm is 1/3 mile down an easement off of a quiet road. We have about 2 acres fenced in as a yard for the pups, and also to keep the cows in their pastures. Entrance to the yard is through a gate next to the driveway near the garage. Appointments only please so that we confirm and can put our friendly pups away - unless you would like playtime, and we are sure the dogs get along. We ask that only fully vaccinated and healthy dogs (not recovering or suffering from a transmittable illness) visit our property, as it’s our home.

Our space offers fun for dogs and kids alike! Let your furbaby’s run free, play catch, or relax in our backyard while the kids keep themselves entertained on the swing set, ninja line, pool or trampoline (play is at your own risk, not responsible for injuries, must bring own towel). Mornings are typically full sun, while afternoons offer partial shaded area to cool off after a long day. Other amenities include table with umbrella and chairs, dog toys, shaded dog shack, pooper scooper, poop bags w/disposal bucket, water bowl, water hose/sprinkler.

A reactive dog himself, our rescue Reptar understands the value of private playtime in a safe space and invites you to enjoy his personal pup oasis! We welcome you and your dogs to enjoy our fully-fenced backyard with private lake access. We offer shade for our guests, both from the trees and a movable pop up tent. We also have a dog-kiddie pool for them to splash around in or rinse off after their dip in the lake. We provide outside toys, doggie waste bags, treats, towels and drinking water for you and our furry guests. We offer a 25 yard leash you can use when your dog is swimming if you are worried about their recall in the water. We even have an agility course for some extra fun! We welcome you to sync your phone to our Bose speaker to listen to your own music or just enjoy the sounds of nature. In the springtime, it’s the perfect weather for your dogs to swim while you enjoy the view. Lots of wildlife to enjoy, you may even help us find newly hatched baby turtles during your stay! Arrival Notes: • Parking: Please park along the right hand side of the house. • Dog Etiquette: Kindly keep your dogs leashed and off the front lawn. They can relieve themselves in the designated circle or elsewhere if necessary, but please minimize their presence on the front lawn. • Dog Waste: Dispose of all bagged dog waste in the trash can with the black lid in front of the garage before leaving. • Entrance and Exit: Access the field from either the path behind the garage or the gravel path on the right hand side of the driveway. The side yard next to the garage is off-limits. • Supplies: Dog bags are available in the boxes attached to the fence. There is a water bowl next to the hose bib for your convenience. Additionally, a picnic table, chairs, bug spray, and hand sanitizer are provided for your use. • Further Exploration: At the bottom of the stairs, another single gate with more dog bags provides access to the field, creek, and wooded walk. Please leash your dogs beyond this point unless they have excellent recall. Wildlife such as deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits, hawks, and even beavers may be encountered. • Paths: To the left, a path leads through the woods, up the hill, and around the garage. On the right-hand side of the field, a gravel path leads back up to the driveway. You are welcome to explore the property with your dog(s). Description: • Property Overview: The property spans five acres and includes half an acre of fully fenced lawn, wooded paths, and an open field bordered by Popes Head Creek. Dogs enjoy running and playing off-leash in the fenced lawn area, and there are designated spots like a fire hydrant in the pea gravel area and a sandbox for their use. The creek offers a refreshing spot for dogs to explore and cool off. The property also provides numerous picturesque opportunities in all seasons. Dog Toys: • You are welcome to use the toys I just ask that you return them before you leave. Dog Limitations: • Limit: We allow up to 4 dogs per reservation. If you wish to bring more or arrange a play date, please contact us to discuss it. Vehicle Limitations: • Vehicles: Each reservation allows a maximum of 2 vehicles. If you plan to bring a third vehicle, please add "Extra - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and inform us to ensure adequate space. Child Supervision: • Children: Children under 18 must be supervised at all times. Parents are liable for any damage caused by their children. Welcome to the Hive's Sniffspot! We have just about a half acre of completely fenced in yard for you and your pups to enjoy with grass, trees, lots of great sniffs, toys, and room to run! You and your pupper can play fetch, frisbee, and tug. You can tease your pupper with our flirt pole or maybe you want to just relax on our covered porch, rocking the time away while your BFF explores the yard! We have squirrels to chase, fresh water to drink, a hose to spray your pup down with, a sprinkler and/or pupper pool to frolic in on those hot summer days, and a towel to dry them off with! We even have a huge sandbox for sanctioned digging! The queen of our hive is our 2 year old pibble mix, Sophie, who (on request) can be invited to come out and play with your pupper -- after a proper introduction, of course! Our Sophie loves her yard, and we are so excited to be able to share it with you and your pup! We have a spacious, secure private fenced and peaceful yard, in a quiet and dog friendly neighborhood. Easy parking on the street outside the house, and a side entry gate.  Patio heater available during the colder months. Our yard has sunny areas, as well as plenty of trees providing natural shade and much needed coolness during those hot humid summer days.  A natural wooded yard that borders a county park on one side, with a 7ft wooden privacy fence all the way around the property, the front and neighbor side sections are double sided, so a perfect solution for reactive pups and a side entry gate.  Completely pesticide/herbicide/fertilizer free yard!  Our ground cover is soft playground wood chips, soft for all pup paws, specifically designed to be comfortable for all kinds of furbabies!  The playground chips are a natural tick repellent. We are open during rainy weather too for those of you with rain loving pups!  The overhangs, patio umbrella and tree coverage keep paw parents dry too!  Added bonuses, the chips dry quickly, there's no mud or slippery grass.  You can also enjoy a deck with a patio table, cushioned chairs, lawn chair seating and a hammock!  We also provide poop bags, doggie wipes and towels, extra dog water bowls, kiddie pools and outdoor spigot with hose for water bowl refills or hose play in the warmer months, elevated feeders for the pups who cannot bend down very well to drink and a few refreshments for humans too! Endless amounts of smells and sniffing opportunities from all the local wildlife that frequent our yard.  Good space for running, playing chase, frisbee, tennis ball, chuck it, for the energetic pups, and plenty of space for meandering, or just lounging around under the shade or in sun spots for the more mature pups!  The public park next to us has several wooded trails, so if your pup has any energy left, it is a nice park to walk. **Our priority is opening up our space for your furbabies to enjoy to their heart's content. If you need to bring your human children too, please make sure they are well behaved, respectful of our property and possessions, and under your mature supervision at all times! Smoking, vaping, alcohol and glass containers are NOT permitted at our spot. But also there is free street parking. Please enter through the GATE RIGHT OF THE HOUSE - please see pictures for location. 1b- Please keep dog’s leashes on upon entering and exiting the spot. 2- There are garden chairs and a bench, please feel free to use them. 3- There is a box filled with fun dog toys and a couple of dog treats for you all to enjoy. 4- There is a water hose and a bowl, please feel free to use them. 5- We would be appreciate if you left the backyard as you found it. IMPORTANT: ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED WHEN ENTERING AND EXITING THE SNIFFSPOT, AND THE LEASH SHOULD BE KEPT WITHIN EASY REACH FOR QUICK ACCESS. **Update as of 5/17/25. The grass is freshly cut and the yard is immaculate!** We have somewhere between a third to a half acre in our backyard, fully enclosed with a 5 to 7-ft wood fence. We have shady spots, but there also aren't too many trees, so there is plenty of room to play fetch and run around. Amenities include two different size jumps, a spring-loaded tug rope attached to a tree, a small dog tunnel, furniture on the lower deck for you to sit down, a hammock, and a trampoline.

GG’s Funny Farm is a 2 acre family friendly farm that makes an enchanting dog park. On the property their are goats and chickens for your entertainment, however they are safely fenced behind a 6 foot fence in their own play area. A large play structure with swings, a ninja rope course and tether ball are all available for use while enjoying the property. Be sure to check out the pond out in the front East corner. Fish food is provided so you can feed the fish and see the pond come alive. Campfires with S’mores are available with a reservation and added fee. Come and enjoy this tranquil shady spot with your friends and family.

There are open areas for dogs to stretch their legs and chase each other and flowers, shade and seating for their human companion(s). There is a 𝙢𝙖𝙣-𝙢𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢 (more detail below) in the back that depending on rainfall, may be running full or just at a trickle. It is ideal for your pup to explore and cool off in. The yard offers plenty of great 𝙥𝙝𝙤𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙩 opportunities to take tons of pictures throughout the various seasons. 🦋 The yard is a 𝘾𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙙 𝙒𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩®, we are trying to help nature where and when we can. The flower beds have been designed for local critters - birds, turtles, pollinators, etc so absolutely no killing of any bees, butterflies, spiders, turtles, snakes, birds or other wildlife you may find. It also means you will likely encounter gnats, mosquitos and possibly ticks - all great bird food but not so nice for us humans and our pups. So please be sure your pup is current on their preventatives. We do provide bug spray for you to use - just be sure to use in the lawn and not near any of the flower beds. In the summer months grass may get a little taller to help out the fireflies. If you can, take a cool pic to share - we'd love to see it. 💉𝗩𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦: To help ensure a safe environment for visiting pups and our own, guests will need to provide current 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 for rabies and DHPP (distemper, parvo, etc) for EACH dog visiting. Each dog visiting must have received their full round of puppy vaccines AND must be at least 6 months old. If you have questions, feel free to reach out. Once on file, you are good to go until their renewal date. If the vaccination info is not received 1 hour prior to your start time, your reservation will be cancelled. That said, Mother Nature adds to it, so we do recommend your pup have his/her 𝙇𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙤 vaccine. The stream is usually shutdown or just a trickle in the winter months with some water remaining at the end to help support the frogs overwinter. Please do not allow digging or rough play in the stream - we want to keep it in good shape for all our guests to enjoy and avoid costly repairs. If it is important to your visit that the stream is running and at what level (full/trickle) please reach out to the Host to check its status. 🐕 𝗗𝗢𝗚 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧 - Our site is set for a 4 dog limit. If you would like to bring additional dogs, please send a message. The request will be considered on a case by case basis. If you want a key date/time, I recommend securing it with a reservation for one dog and then updating the reservation once we have talked. 🐶 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗗𝗢𝗚𝗦 - There are some spots at the bottom of the fence a small dog (cat size) might be able to get under - they are meant for our cats and other wildlife. If you are bringing a small dog, let me know and we can block the openings ahead of time. 🚗 𝗩𝗘𝗛𝗜𝗖𝗟𝗘 𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧- 𝑴𝒂𝒙𝒊𝒎𝒖𝒎 𝒐𝒇 2 vehicles per reservation. If a 3rd vehicle will be brought, please select and add "Extra F - Extra Vehicle" to your reservation and send us a note so we can make sure there is sufficient space. 👶 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗡 - Children under 18 are to be supervised at all times. A great backyard will a little over .25 acres. Dogs love that there is enough room for fetch, zoomies, and sniffing all the different spots throughout. It is completely fenced in and has a patio for you to sit on while your doggo explores. Please bring your own water and water bowl for your pups as we do not provide water. There is a hose you may use. The spigot is in the back left corner of the patio (if you're looking at the house). Be sure to tag us in your posts on Instagram @zarassniffspot You are welcome to move around chairs to sit or block the stairs, but please be sure to put things back as they were. Summer note: Please bring bug spray and feel free to use the fan on the patio to help with the bugs and heat. Be sure to turn it off when finished. Our property backs to Motts Run. Yard is fenced. We do have chickens and cats but they are contained. There is a trail in our yard that connects to Motts Runs Trail.
