This is the most beautiful farm land out in Powhatan, Easy to get to, with plenty of space and land. We have beautiful views, rolling hills, corn fields across the street, an amazing skyline, a lot of fresh, clean air, and a ton of space for dogs to sniff, explore, play and run. Bring up to 4 dogs to run, roam, fetch, and/or lay lazy in the sun. Plenty of shaded area too and a little creek running through some rolling hills in the back. There is also a water source and a spigot on the back of the house with a little private patio and you all are free to refill dog bowls and/or water bottles there. Feel free to bring snacks and/or lunch for a little picnic. If you want to bring dog treats and dog food, that’s good too! There is a trash can behind the shed where you can throw away your trash. Gravel parking area in the front. Perfect spot to allow your dogs to run off-leash since many dog parks enforce leash laws and do not allow dog owners to take their pets off-leash. No more than 4 dogs at a time. Our prices are as follows: one dog will cost $10 dollars for 90-min. time slot. Two dogs = $15 for 90-minute time slot. Three dogs = $20 for 90-minute time slot. Four dogs = $30 for a 90-minute time slot. We are not double booking the space either. We have four dogs of our own and they love it out here. Our dogs will be inside when yours are here to play and we will not allow them out when you visit. We ask that your dogs are brought by their owner or someone who knows the dog very well. If bringing three or more dogs, it may be smart to bring a friend, son, daughter, spouse to come with you so you can all enjoy time together. I also know that kids and spouses may just be along for the ride so there is a basketball hoop with two basketballs in the backyard. There is also a big hand-made rope swing for your little ones to sit and swing if you worry about how to entertain your child who may accompany you to our farm. There is also a big, beautiful, comfy beach hammock for shady laying, reading or relaxing for a child or spouse who may not want to play in the yard with the dogs. If you have any questions, let us know. We are easy-going, friendly and respectful people who know how important it is for dogs to have space and play time. No bookings will be allowed after 7 PM. This means that you can book from 7 PM - 8:30 PM with that being the last slot available for the day. We have a great space that we know others will find just as peaceful and beautiful as we do. We know that our farm has given our dogs a better quality of life and allows them to play, socialize and explore in a safe and secluded space and it has made them far more happy and healthy as a result. We want others to have a fun, wholesome time with their dogs, and to offer our space to others so that can experience the same serenity and joy that we do out here.

Seating areas on deck lounge on the couch or sit at the table And chairs. Additional seating area around fire pit (but please no fires!). Our resident dog Lola loves to play fetch and find sticks in the yard. Sometimes there’s even a squirrel to chase! Please come let your pups run around in our large Lakeside yard! Our 3 pups (sometimes 4 if we have a foster) love all the open space, so we hope yours will too. We will try to always leave a towel and some little treats up on the deck, so you’re more than welcome to help yourself to anything up there! There should be a basket of toys and baggies, so feel free to use any of it plus the pooper scoopers/hose etc.

Large tree in backyard provides shade for the pups, along with a couple kiddie pools for the water lovers. Plenty of toys, tennis balls, and towels available. Dogs love my sniff-tastic space! I hope you'll visit my large, fully enclosed half-acre yard. It has everything a pup could ask for: an open clearing for zoomies or game of fetch, shady woods and nooks and crannies to investigate, SO MANY critter sniff trails, and dirt, leaves and grass to dig in! It's also a great space for humans of all sizes to explore! You can even try your hand at a game of bocci ball while you're here in our gravel court! Easy side-street parking on Kamankeag makes accessing the yard through the back gate a piece of cake! *OUR FENCING IS NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY SMALL DOGS OR ESCAPE ARTISTS.*

Saturday/Sunday mornings 8:30 am - 11 am We plan to stay open this winter but will be closed during inclement weather and if the ground is wet to protect our lawn and prevent muddy spots. Hot drinks (tea and hot chocolate) come standard with visits on days below 45 degrees. Stay warm! Hi! I'm Alyssa, a rescue dog owner with a ~1/3 acre yard perfect for your dog to enjoy! We have a mix of gardens, grass, mulch, and leaf areas great for sniffing and playing fetch and a bin full of fun toys and treats. We have a special basket of small dog toys upon request. We provide cold water for humans, bug spray, and hand sanitizer. We spray our yard every 5 weeks with a natural oil mix to help reduce mosquitos, fleas, and ticks. Reactive dog owners should note that our neighbors on both sides have dogs that may or may not be outside during your visit. They are all friendly but will probably bark to say hello or run the fenceline with your dog. (No dogs live in the yard with the chain link which is newly covered). I recommend leaving your dog on a leash to walk the yard perimeter and ensure they're ok with neighbors' dogs. We provide a bucket of extra treats to help with training and distraction. Our girl loves a "sniffari" where you hide treats around the yard to sniff out. ⭐️ Important notes ⭐️ 🐶 All dogs must be FULLY vaccinated (Rabies, Parvo, Bordetella, DHPP, Lepto encouraged) Please do not book unless you are sure your dog has all their shots. Puppies less than 4 months old that are still building up vaccines should stay at home. 🐕‍🦺 Dogs MUST be leashed when entering and exiting the yard. Our neighbor across the street has a few outdoor cats we want to keep safe and our neighbors walk their dogs on the street. 🍃 Please do not let your dog eat or chew any of the plants in the yard. No excessive digging. 🌻 Please do not enter the gated garden area on the other side of the house. Aggressive/reactive or crazy high energy dog you don't take places as often as you'd like because of the response you get from people, bring them here! We get it (really..we do) and will be sure to give you and your pup the space you need with no added side eye ;) Need help applying training for those "problems"? Ask us about that, too! Working/sport dog that needs somewhere to train where handler doesn't have to be on guard or worry about misinterpretation, bring them here! Our world revolves around working dogs and training... we get it. We respect what you're doing and the space and understanding you need to get it done. We also love to train and meet new dog people and would love to meet and join you if we're home, but only at your request. Just a good ol' pet dog that wants to have some fun? Bring them here! Enjoy our secluded dog pasture located on a dead end out in Beaverdam. As you enter the gravel driveway, you will see designated parking alongside a shaded shed. Just a short walk away is the entrance to a fully fenced doggie pasture. We will have camp style chairs inside under a shade sail for your use as well as a garden hose and drinking bowl (for the dogs only preferred).There are covered dog shelters so your pooch can have some shade. Doo doo bags and trash can are nearby for cleaning up. The area is far removed from the street We are easily reached should you have any issues at all and the area has security cameras for safety. We do not have any outside pets that will interfere with your visit. A burn barrel and wood is available for visits in the cooler months. Take a ride through the county and enjoy our clean and pesticide/fertilizer free pasture!

Welcome to the World’s Largest Sniffspot (Confirmed). There’s all kinds of areas to let your dog sniff and romp around! Upon arrival you may romp around in any field as far as your eyes can see. We just harvested corn September 2024 and the land is wide open and crop free until spring! There’s google earth maps showing property lines in yellow in the pictures.
