55Riley had such a great time running off leash. The property is fully fenced so I was able to let him run off leash and explore. Was a little muddy because it had rained most of the day before we arrived but not a problem since we had on our hiking boots as suggested by the host. Host met us on arrival and gave a quick run down of the property and then we were alone after that. Riley is highly reactive to people and other animals so we went straight past the goats and horse and once over the creek they were no longer visible. Booked 1.5 hours which was perfect since it was a drizzly day, could definitely see staying longer on a nice day. We will be booking this spot again. thanks for sharing your property with us!Teresa W.

55WOW awesome visit, awesome Sniffspot! Grace greeted us when we arrived to be sure we knew where we were going, then set us free in the mini forest. We booked 2 hours to be sure we had enough time to explore and I'm so glad we did! Our dog is still learning how to be a trail dog, so it was great to clip on his drag line and practice recall and trail manners without worrying about running into other dogs. This will also be a great place for curated dog playgroups this summer. We'll be back!!Sarah S.

55We love this spot! It was our first time here and we ran a little late, but the host was super accommodating and allowed us extra time! The property is huge and has so much for the pups to do. There is water for swimming and so much room to run! We were also left treats at the end and provided poop bags, we will be back!:) Lyosha O.

55Great place! Felt very secure and private. My dog gets nervous when he sees/hears strangers and other dogs, and this was the perfect spot to let him run around and have fun without having to worry about anxiety triggers popping up. He absolutely loved it.Jonah V.

55We had a blast! My dog enjoyed running around the shed and playing catch with the toys there! We did see a black cat at the houses front door on the way in, but my dog was too excited to play to notice. My dog also was not bothered by the noises in the neighborhood-but in case yours is, we heard dogs barking in the distance (and potentially the resident dog on the way out), kids playing, and some hammering/drilling in the distance.Tara & James K.

55This spot is spot on! :)
I emailed Jeannette the day before with a question and she responded immediately, which was greatly appreciated.
The spot is very clean and peaceful. The garden is lovely, as is the enormous evergreen tree for shade. My dog Gracie, who cannot be around other dogs, had a blast running circles around me at high speed and playing fetch with the balls that are provided.
The spot is fully fenced, as advertised, and a fresh bowl of water for doggy was provided.
The spot is very close to home and Gracie asked if we can come back soon, which we will plan on doing! Thanks, Jeannette, for providing a quiet and lovely yard for our pups!Beth S.

55Nice yard for the dogs to sniff around and explore. Easy access and within walking distance of my house to walk instead of drive there. Lots of garden areas so not a good yard for a digging dog, but for a dog that likes to run around and explore, it is good! Alexis N.

55This Spot has become our favorite. The yard is peaceful and clean. My pup loves it. It's more expensive than other spots in the area, or we would be able to visit it more often.

55My emotionally-challenged canine friend and I are on a slow and steady journey to expose him to more variety and greater trigger challenges. Jeannette's adorable backyard sniffspot is our latest stop, and we had a great time this morning! Depending on what your dog enjoys, this yard has so many nooks and crannies to explore and sniff, and do other fun focus games and scent work. My guy is very nosey, so he stuck his head in everywhere... We also got some good zoomies in and a lot of play with his favorite toy Jolly Ball. For reference, my guy is a lanky 70 lb Malinois mix, and he had room to run, especially with so many different things to weave around. A great way to start our morning, and we will be back!
The deets for our visit: We came at 9:30am on a Sunday morning on December 1st. So probably one of the quietest times to come, which we needed. The yard does share a fence line with four different yards and the end of a partial alley, so I imagine this could get busy at other times of the day or year. There are quite a few dogs being walked at any time in that neighborhood, but that was only a concern for us while getting to and from the house and car parked out front on the street. My guy is people and dog-reactive, and nothing happened to trigger him this morning, beyond just his own anxiety in new places, which he got over in about 10 minutes.
As a human, I enjoyed all the cute and clever garden spaces, in Jeanette's yard as well as the neighbors. We also had a VERY low-flying flock of geese fly right overhead, and watched crows chase a hawk into a neighboring conifer tree.
As other reviewers mentioned, be sure to bring your own toys and poop bags. Also be prepared to retrieve your toys from underneath the shed. Fortunately, our Jolly Ball has a handle, and there was a long cut branch that made it easy to pull out. There is still a board-wide gap in the fence with the southern neighbor, but the lowest part is blocked with some wire mesh. I think it could only become a security risk if a human/child stuck their arm through in the upper portion.
It definitely met our training needs, he had fun, and I enjoyed it to boot!Julie P.

55Almost as uneventful (in a good way) as out first visit on an early Sunday morning. This was a busier Wednesday afternoon, but we didn't see or hear any other dogs.
Only things to trigger my guy was an exciting squirrel, a delivery guy next door, and a neighbor spoke to us over the fence on our way back to the car (thinking we were the hostess).
It was just as perfectly clean as before, with fresh water and plenty of room to zoom figure 8s!Julie P.
