Mission and Vision
To promote adoption and rescue, educate the public about puppy mills, backyard breeders and the horrific conditions dogs face in many states in the US
Specialization
- Boxer
- English Bulldog
- French Bulldog
- Pug
Adoption Policy
All applicants are screened including initial phone interview, vet references, home visit and final adoption interview. All dogs adopted through CHBR are followed by volunteers for up to a year or more and if any reason a placement does not work all dogs come back to the rescue and cannot be rehomed or sent to shelter by the adopter. We maintain an open door policy with our adopters for our dogs with regular communication.

"We recently adopted from CH Boxer Rescue. The process was easy yet they carefully screened us. Our pup was well taken care of by her fosters and both the foster and the CH team keeps in touch checking on her. I wpuld absolutely adopt from them again."

"Ch boxer rescue has been a great rescue to work with. I’ve been fostering for them for just over a year and have had 6 fosters and kept one of them. They’re super supportive of their fosters and are very reasonable with their adoption process and pricing. They’re just an all around amazing rescue!!"

"I lost my second boxer in the fall of 2023 and her passing left a void within our family. We wanted to fill that empty space but each of us was in a different place in the grieving process between myself, my spouse, and our two young children. I found Chelsea’s Hope Boxer Rescue on social media and almost immediately filled out an application. Over the past months I have had the opportunity to work with many of the volunteers within the rescue, each working tirelessly, communicating with each other and the network of fosters. We are currently fostering our third rescue, and hope to make him a permanent member of our family. Even though we have found that special dog who makes our family feel whole again, I think we all find so much joy helping as many pups find their forever homes and will continue to foster when we can. There are too many animals suffering from neglect, starving, in need of help and love, and the volunteers at CHBR do everything they can to match dogs to the fosters and adopters that need each other."

"CH Boxer Rescue was very pleasurable to work with. They were quick to respond and answer any questions or concerns. They seem genuinely concerned and invested in the wellbeing and happiness of the dogs that they foster and adopt out. We love Buster and are grateful that CH Boxer Rescue picked us to be his family!"

"I had a wonderful experience adopting my sweet boxer girl from Chelsea’s Hope Boxer Rescue. From my first call from Nancy to conversations with Loretta and Melissa before and after my adoption. It all went smooth and Chloe (Rylee) is such a blessing to our home. I needed her just as much as she needed me. She’s fun, gentle and smart. These dogs and puppies are so lucky to have such caring and dedicated people rescuing and helping them get to better places. I would recommend this rescue to everyone and can’t thank them enough for bringing Chloe into my life ❤️ very grateful"

"I will be forever grateful to Chelsea's Hope Boxer Rescue for sending us our sweet Tootsie. When I spoke to Loretta, she listened to my needs and felt that Tootsie was the perfect dog for my 12 year old son and I. I drove to New Jersey to meet Liz on a cold Christmas Eve morning and it was love at first sight. From that point on, the rescue never stopped supporting Tootsie. They helped get her foot wound healed and made sure she was vaccinated and spayed. I send Liz and Loretta pics to update them on the amazing dog they rescued. The rescue has been there for me, to answer my questions and guide me. I will forever be grateful to this amazing rescue who truly loves their dogs."
