It was so fun that we completely forgot to take pictures! Only a small part (like one or two panels) of the fence was broken so we played off-leash and our dog was definitely safe and had a great time! Linda F.

55Lots of space to run around and a couple toys that the host left for the dogs to play with! This was my first time using sniffspot and this was a fun first experience. I will be coming back for sure :-)Abby Y.

55Sheena’s yard was a great size, and a thoughtful arrangement of treats, a ball, towel and water — as well as seating — were made available to us. Sheena was also wonderful to interact with through the app. Definitely recommend! Amy L.

55We visited Aimee's and had a little dog reunion between our dog and another that had been a shelter with him. It was the perfect place, with lots of terrain for them both to sniff and romp. Aimee was a gracious host and it couldn't have been a better visit. Robert P.

55We’ve visited a handful of times now and have no doubt we will continue to keep coming back each week. The dogs absolutely love it and with such a kind, friendly host it’s hard not to love the spot. null n.

55Great experience! Place was easy to find, lots of space to park, and lots of room to sniff! If your pup likes to eat fresh dirt and compost, maybe make sure they know the command ‘leave it’ as there are some beautiful gardens with food scraps mixed in the soil! Other than that, we will return, our pup is fast asleep from all her big zoomies! Thanks Aimee!! Tamlyn Y.

55So much better than just a grass field. Lots of interesting places and pots to sniff that my pup didn’t play with her favourite tennis ball much. She fell asleep on the way home which is a win for a car reactive dog! Rachel H.

55Successful first Sniffspot experience! Plenty of space for my reactive pup to run off-leash. Aimee was understanding of my request for no check-in while we were in the yard as my dog can be people reactive when surprised. I could see their being an issue for some dogs with the 2 gate doors not closing completely but fortunately for me today there was plenty of snow so the doors couldn’t move anyways. Cara M.

55Luna had a great time at Aimee’s backyard. She was able to explore and decompress without any stress (and so was I!) Aimee notified me of the food scraps on the flowerbeds but Luna isn’t interested in food so we were ok, I appreciated her giving me the heads up. Lunas favourite thing was rounding up all the lost balls. I did notice a loose bit in the fence where a panel had slipped but this again was not an issue for us with Lunas size, a smaller dog or escape artist may have found this fun! Lucy W.

55Rooney had an excellent time romping around in Aimee’s backyard. As a dedicated sleuth and escape artist (street stray background) there were a couple potential hazards to Roo - there is an open shed which Aimee has tried to block off with a hockey net, and a garage and greenhouse that are not locked. Compost could also be a hazard for some scavengers. It ended up being totally fine for us and the fence was secure enough to keep her in (she is a 50 lb bully breed who will shove her way through openings that seem to small for her if motivated for reference). Super grateful to Aimee for hosting this spot with enough room for a rousing game of fetch and lots of great spots to play hide and seek and other recall games. A welcome reprieve for reactive dog and tired humans :) Meghan H.

FAQ about our Seafair dog parks
Are dog parks good for dogs?
It is important for dogs to have off leash exercise to sniff and run. But the free and open nature of public dog parks has drawbacks. There could be aggressive dogs, disease transmission and cleanliness issues. For this reason, many dog behaviorists discourage visiting public dog parks and recommend Sniffspot's private dog parks. Sniffspot private dog parks only allow one guest to book at a time and are not open to the public, which solves many of these issues.
Are dog parks safe?

All Sniffspot locations are vetted and reviewed by guests so you can find the perfect place for you and your dog. 97% of reviews on Sniffspot visits in the Seafair area are 5 stars.
How do I know if a dog park works for my dog?
You can filter Sniffspot dog parks by fencing and distractions. If your dog doesn't have good recall, you can visit one of our 75 fully fenced dog parks in the area.
