"I've lived in a lot of communities in Texas and have supported many local rescues/shelters. Aggieland Humane Society is unparalleled. The staff are kind, helpful, grateful and selfless. Their devotion to animals is inspiring. If I'm ever lucky enough to win the Lotto, Aggieland Humane Society will get a lifetime annual donation."

"Aggieland goes above and beyond not just to get animals adopted but for care of injured and abandoned animals. Our dog we adopted would not have survived without the love and care provided to him by the shelter. He is thriving today because of them. Their quick response to this abandoned and abused dog saved his life, brought awareness to the community of how pets needed to be treated and actually brought a community together through this rescue. They continue to check on our pet and the love they show from employees to volunteers is heart warming"

"Got my dog from them 3 months ago. Super easy and quick process. They were so helpful and told me the answers to every question I asked. Have been to 2 different shelters to adopt a dog before and this is by far the best experience I have had while adopting."

"For some time I was just a donor to AHS and I didn’t want to pay a visit because I hate seeing what other shelters are like. The visit opened my eyes to what a shelter should always be like. Eventually I was convinced to take a visit and before you blink, I started volunteering, fostering (but “failed”) and increased my annual donation. That’s how much I admire Aggieland Humane Society!"

"Aggieland humane society gave me two fur babies who changed my life. They have grown so much since the time I have known them. Introducing doggie day out, walk a dog days etc. The way they and the volunteers care for the animals in the shelter is heart warming. We are lucky to have them in Aggieland."

Get your dog the safe enrichment they need by renting a Sniffspot

David Adams is a man of many passions, but his love for dogs stands above all. He is not only a dog lover, but also the founder of an innovative platform called Sniffspot. This unique platform connects dog owners with private property owners who are willing to rent out their space for off-leash playtime. While the idea of Sniffspot was initially conceived by his wife, Rebecca, David has been the driving force behind its remarkable success, tirelessly overseeing its growth and development.
David's dedication to providing safe and enjoyable spaces for dogs to play, explore, and socialize is evident in his unwavering commitment to Sniffspot. He strongly believes that dogs need ample space and opportunities to stretch their legs and have fun. As a result, he has worked tirelessly to build a network of private property owners across the country who share his vision and are willing to offer their space for the benefit of dogs and their owners.
Despite his busy schedule, David always finds time to indulge in his passion for the great outdoors. He loves nothing more than exploring new hiking trails and embarking on thrilling outdoor adventures. Whenever he is not working on Sniffspot, he can often be found hiking or visiting multi-acre fenced sniffspots with his two beloved dogs, Soba and Toshii. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys the fresh air, breathtaking scenery, and the sense of freedom that comes with being in nature.
David is based in Salem, MA.
