Pups In Peril is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We are dedicated to save dogs of all ages and breeds by rescuing, rehabilitating and placement into loving forever homes. Pups In Peril is a no kill, foster based volunteer rescue organization serving the Golden Triangle Area of Southeast Texas. It is our mission to rescue dogs left homeless and in danger for whatever reason.
We place dogs dogs in responsible, loving, committed forever homes, following a in depth adoption process which includes finding the best match possible for our rescues as well as educating potential adopters about the responsibilities and costs associated with dog ownership.
Dogs in our rescue receive any veterinary care necessary as well as all vaccinations recommended. All rescues will be spayed or neutered. All rescues are placed in loving foster homes until adoption. We assist dogs of all ages or breeds regardless of ease of placement.
Since we are strictly foster based and depend highly on donations received from the general public we simply can not take in a unlimited number of dogs in need, dogs with the greatest need will be our first priority.
Pups In Peril remains interested and committed to the dog well beyond the adoption process.
Pets in Transition
#100 in United States, #22 in Texas, #1 in Beaumont
Founded in 2008 and located in Beaumont, Texas, our all-volunteer organization began by simply transporting animals from local shelters to no-kill rescue groups in Houston and other neighboring towns for placement into loving homes.
We focus our time on rescuing animals, getting them ready for adoption, and then transitioning them to a loving home or to a no-kill group that will find them a loving home. Animals that are already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and tested for diseases have a much better chance of being accepted into a rescue group for placement. Pets In Transition provides this for the animals we rescue.
Some of the animals we see in the shelters are sick or injured, but otherwise very adoptable. Pets In Transition often takes these medical cases into our rescue, gets them the care they need, and provides a foster home for them while they are healing.

Beaumont Pets Alive
#100 in United States, #22 in Texas, #1 in Beaumont
Beaumont Pets Alive was founded in 2018 to assist in the rescue and transport of homeless animals at Beaumont Animal Care. One of our primary goals was to assist the City of Beaumont’s municipal shelter, Beaumont Animal Care, achieve a “No-Kill” designation. Beaumont Pets Alive has saved a total of 3043 animals since inception and has been a great part of helping the city shelter achieve no-kill status. “No-Kill” is defined as a 90% “live release rate” — meaning that nine of every 10 animals admitted into the city shelter leaves the city alive.
Because of our partnership with the city, the Trap, Neuter & Release program was launched. It has reduced the feral cat population significantly. Beaumont Pets Alive has assisted the homeless with pet food and spaying/veterinary care for pets. Beaumont Pets Alive has worked with the Jefferson County emergency planning commission and assisted with the pets of those individuals who needed to evacuate. Currently, our primary service is to save animals that have no other option, whether they are ill and need veterinary care or behavioral instruction. We have a transport vehicle and have made multiple trips to Washington state and Massachusetts. We partner with other transports and Petco or Petsmart stores for adoption.

Sweetpups Rescue and Sanctuary
#100 in United States, #22 in Texas, #1 in Beaumont
Sweetpups has been in operation for over 10 years, and has assisted thousands of animals in different ways, whether it be finding a home, having its medical needs met, or boarding an animal while it's family is unable to care for it. Our family saw a tremendous need in our community and felt called to step in. This organization has been a learning experience for all involved and we have adapted to what our community needs. We offer medical assistance, education. and preventative measures to help socially and economically underserved communities in our area. We pull from pounds and take a few owner surrenders but most of our dogs have clearly been abandoned and left to fend for themselves. They would quickly have succumbed to their situation without our intervention.
